Dayton Audio Reference RSS460HO Ported Enclosure, Single 18″

Dayton Audio Reference RSS460HO ported enclosure, single 18-inch, with 2.91 cubic feet of net airspace tuned to 30.5 Hz through 43.9 square inches of port; the anechoic F3 is 32.1 Hz.

Tuning at 30.5 Hz is where the port takes over from the cone. Above it the box behaves like a large sealed enclosure; around it output rises several dB for the same power; below it the cone unloads, so set a subsonic filter 5 to 10 Hz under tuning.

43.9 square inches of port area keeps air velocity down at high output, so the port does not chuff when the music gets loud.

Polyfill pre-installed.
