JL Audio 12TW3 dual sealed shallow down fire wide enclosure, 12-inch, with 0.867 cubic feet of net airspace at a system Qtc of 0.917 and an anechoic F3 of 37.5 Hz.

A Qtc above 0.9 is a compact, punchy alignment: a clear lift at the corner and a steeper rolloff beneath it. Cabin gain hands back much of the extension the smaller volume gives up.

Firing into the floor, the sealed rolloff meets rising cabin gain below about 60 Hz, so in-car extension runs below the anechoic figure above.

The baffle faces the floor, which keeps cargo off the cone and leaves a flat top you can load on. The wide format spreads the volume across the trunk rather than back into it, keeping depth short. Shallow build for limited depth behind a seat or in a hatch; the mounting-depth figure below is the one to check.

Construction: 3/4-inch MDF with a double-layer 1.5-inch front baffle, the outer layer recessed so the driver sits flush, V-groove and dado joinery at the panel seams. Carpeted in black, polyfill pre-installed and pre-wired terminal cup fitted.
