Dayton Audio Reference RSS315HO ported enclosure, single 12-inch, with 1.18 cubic feet of net airspace tuned to 35 Hz through 21.8 square inches of port; the anechoic F3 is 33 Hz.

The port is tuned to 35 Hz. Expect a lift of several dB around that point relative to the same driver sealed, and run a subsonic filter 5 to 10 Hz below it; under tuning the port stops loading the cone.

21.8 square inches of port area keeps air velocity down at high output, so the port does not chuff when the music gets loud.

Polyfill pre-installed.

Check your driver's mounting depth against the 5.75-inch figure in the specifications. The published figures are for the dual 4 ohm versions of the driver. If you are between two drivers, send both model numbers and we will tell you which one this volume suits.
